Everything VidChart publishes is editorial opinion, derived from publicly available data. It is not a statement of fact about any person, and it is not advice.

Our scores measure observable, public engagement patterns. They do not measure a creator's honesty, character, integrity, or the quality of their work. A low score is not an accusation. It is an arithmetic result.

You must make your own commercial decisions. We take no commission on any creator deal and have no stake in whether you buy or walk away — which is exactly why our opinion is worth something, and exactly why it remains only an opinion.

1. Who we are, and what these terms cover

These terms govern your use of vidchart.in, vidchart.app, and any report, dataset, or service supplied by VidChart Technologies Private Limited ("VidChart", "we", "us").

By using this site or commissioning a report, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

2. What our scores are — and what they are not

What our scores ARE

Editorial opinions, computed by a published formula, from public data obtained through the official YouTube Data API v3.

Every formula and every limitation is published on our Methodology page. You are invited to check our arithmetic and challenge it.

What our scores are NOT

They are NOT a statement that any creator is fraudulent, dishonest, or has purchased followers. We make no such claim about anyone, ever.

They are NOT a measure of a creator's character, integrity, or talent.

They are NOT investment advice, financial advice, or a recommendation to transact.

They are NOT a guarantee of any commercial outcome. No score we publish predicts your sales.

They are NOT audited financial statements and carry no assurance of any kind under any auditing standard.

2.1 On "non-interacting subscribers"

Where we report that a channel has subscribers who show no measurable interaction, we mean precisely this and nothing more: those subscribers left no public like and no public comment on the videos we examined.

This is NOT an allegation of fake or purchased followers. The overwhelming majority of genuine viewers watch silently and never engage. Non-interaction is normal human behaviour. We report it because it is the only audience-aliveness signal available in public data, and because it is computed identically for every creator, which is what makes them comparable.

2.2 On compliance and disclosure flags

Where we flag a video as promoting a brand with no detected disclosure, this is a flagged item for review — not a finding of violation.

Some flagged items may be affiliate links rather than paid campaigns. Some may carry a disclosure we could not detect. VidChart reports the record. We do not render the verdict. Any determination of regulatory non-compliance is a matter for the brand's own legal counsel and for the Advertising Standards Council of India.

2.3 On correlation and causation

Where we report that a brand's campaign coincided with a change in its business metrics, we are reporting a correlation and nothing else.

We do not claim, and will not claim, that any creator campaign caused any brand's business outcome. Client numbers, revenue and market share are driven by product, pricing, regulation, competition and market conditions. Any reader who infers causation from our data is doing so against our express and repeated statement to the contrary.

3. Not investment or financial advice

Explicit disclaimer

VidChart is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser, research analyst, or financial adviser.

Where our data refers to companies, brands, or listed entities, it is published for informational and editorial purposes only. It is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, and must not be relied upon as such.

Do your own research. Consult a qualified adviser. We accept no liability for any investment decision taken on the basis of anything we publish.

4. Accuracy, and the limits of it

We take reasonable care to be accurate. We cannot guarantee it.

5. Creators — your rights on this platform

We do not charge you, and we do not sell you

We take no money from any creator. We take no commission on any deal you sign. You cannot pay to raise your score, and nobody can pay to lower it.

If you want your channel removed from the public index, email hello@vidchart.in from a verifiable address. We will remove it within 7 working days. No conditions. No arguments.

If you believe a score about you is wrong, tell us. Show us the error. If you are right, we will correct it and say publicly that we were wrong. That is the entire point of publishing our method.

6. Paid reports

TermWhat it means

ConfidentialityA commissioned report belongs to you. We do not publish it, resell it, or share it with any third party.
What you may do with itUse it internally, for your own commercial decisions, without limit.
What you may NOT do with itYou may not republish, resell, or redistribute it. You may not present our scores as your own. You may not use it to publicly allege that any creator is fraudulent — because we have not said that, and we will not stand behind such a claim.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law

VidChart's total liability to you, for any claim arising from these terms or from our service, is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

If you have paid us nothing, our liability to you is nil.

We accept no liability for: any commercial decision you take; any campaign that underperforms; any investment made or avoided; any indirect, consequential or reputational loss; or any act of a creator, brand, agency, or platform.

You are the decision-maker. We supply an opinion. The decision, and its consequences, are yours.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify VidChart against any claim arising from your misuse of our data — in particular, from any public allegation you make about a creator that our data does not support and that we have not made.
